The Worst of Times For Technology

Time for a new Foundry Group video. If you want the backstory, go take a look at the post Foundry Group Announces Major Shift In Investment Strategy . If you just want a break from reality and hopefully a few laughs in the process, enjoy. The video has over 100 easter eggs referring to either portfolio companies of ours or other things in our lives. Behind The Making of I'm A VC

On This Week In TechStars #6, David Cohen interviews Jason Mendelson on the making of our hard hitting documentary on VCs music video “I’m A VC.” The interview happens in Jason’s basement music studio where much of I’m A VC was written, composed, sung, recorded, and – well – whatever you do in a music studio. And no – I can’t dance for shit, nor can I sing. ...

Grumby

One of my favorite things about the month I spent each year in Homer is reading. We don’t have a TV here and, other than going out to dinner for some extra fresh halibut, Amy and I end up spending almost every evening at home reading, writing, or knitting (well – she knits). I usually consume about a book a day (a few take me two days – so it ends up being five a week, or about twenty over the month.) ...
